RECORDING: CHP and Microgrid Applications
The application of combined heat and power (CHP) for microgrid applications is proving to be a great opportunity to reduce energy costs, save money and improve the resilience of the communities. There is considerable opportunity for the deployment of CHP in a microgrid setup mainly in critical infrastructure facilities . The Department of Energy’s Southwest CHP Technical Assistance Partnership (CHP TAP) will be leading a webinar on the opportunities and applications of CHP in a microgrid setup. The CHP TAP can serve as a great resource for facilities considering implementing CHP systems and can help conduct no cost site screenings/analysis. Please join us on April 18th at 1 pm CST/2 pm EST to learn about these CHP benefits and opportunities for your plant. Additional information can be found at our website – www.southwestchptap.org.
